Listening in the Dark talks about something that is not nearly valued enough in Western culture: intuition. However you care to call it, be it inner wisdom, inner knowing, or something else, the message is clear: intuition is powerful and deserving of our trust. I feel like this book bridges intuition into the mainstream culture without being too "woo-woo" by sharing multiple perspectives across industries. The book left me feeling empowered and I hope everyone, especially women and nonbinary folx, who doubt themselves and their gifts have the chance to read this.
